Football Round-Up
Our boys school football teams have been in action over the last two weeks. Year 7 had a comprehensive win against Hillside, Year 8 were narrowly defeated by Hawthones, Year 9 fought back from 2-0 down to win 6-4 against Hillside and Year 10 we’re unlucky to be knocked out of the Small-Schools National Cup against Litherland in a thrilling game.
Our player of the match awards went to:
E .Toole-Bourne (Year 7)
J. Binsteed (Year 8)
O. Heaton-Ward (Year 9)
N. Nkongolo (Year 10)
Additionally, our girl’s football teams have begun preparation for their upcoming tournaments in October and our first training session was well attended.
Please note that girl’s football training will be on Thursday 6th October next week due to the Netball matches against Maricourt on Wednesday.
