Anfield KnifeSavers Event
As part of Everton Football Club & Liverpool FC's drive to reduce crime in our region, they have collaborated with a team of Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses and Night time Security personnel as part of the Knifesavers initiative.
This was hosted at Anfield with the opportunity to view the pitch. They are aiming to encourage as many organisations, shops, bars, taxis to have a Knifesaver kit available to deal with incidents of stabbings.
Our students were taught by a leading trauma surgeon on how to pack and compress a wound to stem the blood flow whilst waiting for ambulance support. Our students understood that no one knows what is around the corner and that some basic knowledge could save someone’s life.
Our students were once again a credit to our school and learnt some very valuable lessons.
