Headteacher COVID-19 Update 11/05/20
- "Chief Executive of Sefton Council, Mr. Dwayne Johnson, came into school last week to personally thank all staff at the school for their tremendous effort, hard work and dedication to the families and children in our community and for the way in which the school has remained open throughout the Coronavirus crisis including school holidays. The school has had one of the highest levels of attendance across all secondary schools for our vulnerable and key worker pupils and will continue to remain open until this crisis is over. He especially went on to thank the Caretaker, Mr Frank Deegan and School Cook, Claire Kennedy as well as all support staff and teachers for their generosity of spirit and service to others.
- "To all pupils and parents please be assured that we are still open every day and are here to help and assist you with any concerns or problems that you might have. The Prime Minister has made an announcement this evening but there needs to be further clarity which I am sure will come through this week. Once the situation becomes clearer I will write and update you. For Y11 pupils and parents we will shortly be submitting your assessed grades to the exam boards with a view to you receiving your results in August and further details will follow. Finally I want you to know that both myself, Father's Jakub and Tomascz and the wider Salesian community are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers."
