News: December 2017 Internal Exam Timetables (20th November 2017)
As we approach Christmas, we also approach the first of our termly test periods for all year groups.
As you will be aware, Government changes to GCSE examinations have resulted in less coursework / controlled assessment in all subjects and a greater emphasis on student performance in final exams. As a result, it is key that our students are well practised in sitting assessments under examination conditions. All students will sit termly tests under formal examination conditions in the Main Hall at Christmas, Easter and Summer as part of their subject assessments. Students who have Special Educational Needs will be given appropriate accommodations through the SEN Department.
