The staff and governors would like to congratulate all of our young people on their GCSE success. Whilst all have achieved, some have excelled, in particular Jessica Lam who achieved 10 x A* grades including the new highest grade of 9 in both English and Maths.
Pictured here with Jessica is Karolina Waldowska, who achieved 5 x A* and 5 x A grades and Louise Burrows who attained a grade 9 in Maths (A*) and 7 x A / A* grades overall. Pictured with them is the new Headteacher, Mr Costello, who joined the school in September and who is excited at the prospect of working with such high achieving students and staff.
New Headteacher Mr Costello commented: "Despite the introduction of new courses and assessment criteria, a vast majority of our pupils were extremely successful with several of them achieving outstanding sets of results".
Two of our students have also passed a rigorous interview process and accepted a place at LIPA, the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts: Gabrielle and Nathan, who recently starred in ITV's "Little Boy Blue". Mrs Gettings, our Head of Art, says "I have no doubt these two young people will have an amazing experience ahead of them, and will for certain make a creative imprint on cultural Liverpool".
We wish all former pupils well as they embark upon the next stages of their careers.
